Goodbye Manado & Hello Tana Toraja จากมานาโดถึงทานา ตอราจา

Next morning on Monday 25th May 2009 we checked out from the hotel Celebes and took the taxi that we had booked with the hotel to go to Sam Ratulangi Airpoar at 5:00 a.m. We checked-in for the Lion Air fligt number JT0741 departure time at 6:45 a.m. arrival time to Makassar (Ujung Pandang) at 8:20 a.m. (If you book earlier in the internet it will we cheaper price than we paid. We paid for the ticket from Manado to Makassar per person was 539,000 Rp per person. If you book through the internet at http://www.lionair.co.id/ , after plus tax and fees already it will be about 479,000 Rp)
We paid for the taxi service of the hotel 85,000 Rp (per way)

After checked-in for our flight, we had to pay the airport tax 30,000 Rp per person (not included in our ticket) When we went up to the gate we saw 2 counters of the insurance company were inviting the passengers to buy the insurance with them. It made us felt not safe to fly for the domestic low cost airline in this country. (Normally, no problem, but when we saw like this we just felt a little serious that it may be not safe, but it is safe)

เช้าตรู่วันจันทร์ที่ 25 พฤษภาคม 2552 พวกเราเช็คเอ๊าท์จากโรงแรมเซลีเบสตอน ตี 5 เพื่อมารอแท็กซี่ของโรงแรมที่จองเอาไว้ตั้งแต่เมื่อคืนแล้ว (ค่าแท็กซี่ไปสนามบิมซำราตุลางีเที่ยวละ 85,000 รูเปียห์ ครับ) เราจะบินเครื่องบินของไลออนแอร์ครับ เที่ยวบิน JT0741 ออกจากมานาโดตอน 6:45 น. ถึงเมืองมากัสซาร์ (หรือเรียกอีกชื่อว่าเมืองอูจุงปันดัง) จังหวัดสุลาเวสีใต้ตอน 8:20 น. (ค่าตั๋วเครื่องบินของไลออนแอร์ถ้าเราจองเองผ่านอินเตอร์เน็ทจะถูกกว่าเดินไปจองเองที่ออฟฟิซตั๋วของเขานะครับ ผมจ่าย 539,000 รูเปียห์ แต่ถ้าจองทางอินเตอร์เน็ทเอง รวมภาษี รวมค่าต่างๆแล้ว ตกอยู่ที่ประมาณ 479,000 รูเปียห์ครับ จองทางอินเตอร์เน็ทได้ที่ http://www.lionair.co.id ครับ) หลังจากเช็คอินแล้วเราก็มารอชั้นบนเพื่อจะขึ้นเครื่อง เห็นเคาน์เตอร์บริษัทประกันชีวิตกำลังเรียกผู้โดยสารให้ทำประกันอยู่ ทำให้เราใจแป้วไม่น้อยครับ รู้สึกว่าการเดินทางกับโลว์คอสแอร์ไลน์ในประเทศนี้ไม่ค่อยปลอดภัยเอาซะเลยครับ เหมือนแช่งกันเลย แต่เราก็ไม่ได้ซื้อครับ แล้วก็เดินทางปลอดภัยครับ ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรเลย แค่คิดมากไปเอง

It landed already in Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Makassar, South Sulawesi.
ถึงแล้วครับสนามบิน นานาชาติสุลต่านฮาซานุดดิน เมืองมากัสซาร์ จังหวัดสุลาเวสีใต้ครับ

We used the counter service in the airport to take the taxi from the airport to Panaikang Ternimal in Makassar Town where we can take the Litha Bus to Tana Toraja. We paid 87,000 Rp for the taxi service to Litha Bus Terminal. It took about 20 minutes to Litha Bus Terminal.

เราใช้บริการเคาน์เตอร์เซอร์วิซในสนามบินเพื่อเรียกแท็กซี่พาไปท่ารถชื่อปาไนกัง (Panaikang) ซึ่งจะเป็นท่ารถที่เราจะไปขึ้นรถบัสบริษัท ลิท่า ไปเมืองทานา ตอราจา ครับ ค่าแท็กซี่ 87,000 รูเปียห์ครับ ประมาณ 20 นาทีก็ถึงท่ารถลิท่า ครับผม

อันนี้เป็นห้องตั๋วนะครับ ค่ารถคนละ 80,000 รูเปียห์ ครับ จากมากัสซาร์ไปรันเตเปา เมืองทานาตอราจา

We got hungry so we bought the rice to eat for our breakfast, you can choose chicken or dog!!!
หิวครับก็เลยซื้อข้าวเป็นห่อกิน มีกับข้าวสองอย่างให้เลือกครับ เนื้อไก่หรือเนื้อน้องหมาผัดเผ็ดครับ เอื๊อก....

We chose chicken...he he he คงไม่ต้องบอกนะครับว่าเราเลือกกินอะไร ไม่ใช่น้องหมาแน่นอนครับ ไม่สามารถจะกินอะไรเยี่ยงนั้นได้ 5555+++

There were 2 buses in the queue, the left one went to Rantepao, Tana Toraja, and the right one went to Palopo.
มีรถจอดอยู่สองคันครับ คันซ้ายไปรันเตเปา เมืองทานา ตอราจา คันขวาไป ปาโลโป เมืองถัดไปจากรันเตเปาครับ
We took this one. The bus left from the terminal about 10:00 a.m.
เราต้องขึ้นคันนี้ครับป้ายไปตอราจา รถออกจากท่าประมาณ 10:00 น. ครับผม

After the bus left from the town, the landscape outside changed to be the rice farming area.
รถบัสออกจากในเมือง บรรยากาศสองข้างทางก็เปลี่ยนเป็นทุ่งนาทันทีครับ เฮ้ย.. เอ็งไปเที่ยวไหนกันเนี่ย ทำไมมันบ้านน้อก....บ้านนอกอย่างนี้วะ 555 +++

After the bas pass the rice farming area, if you look on the left hand side along the way, it will be the sea shore, you will see it many kilometers along the way. About 12:30 Hrs the bus stopped at this restaurant and gave us the time to have lunch (the lunch was not included in the ticket, if you eat you pay) or go to the tiolet. But we didn't because just had eaten the breakfast before the bus left from the terminal. The toilet is not free, 1,000 Rp per person and very long queue.

หลังจากพื้นที่ทุ่งนา ถ้าเรามองด้านซ้ายของรถจะเห็นว่าถนนที่รถวิ่งอยู่นั้นเลียบชายฝั่งตลอดหลายสิบกิโลเมตรเลยครับ ประมาณเที่ยงครึ่งรถบัสก็จอดแวะร้านอาหารให้ผู้โดยสารกินข้าว (อาหารไม่รวมในตั๋วเหมือนบ้านเรานะครับ ใครกิน ใครจ่ายครับ) หรือถ้าจะเข้าห้องน้ำก็ตามสะบายครับ แต่คิวห้องน้ำยาวมากๆ ค่าเข้าห้องน้ำคนละ 1,000 รูเปียห์ครับ

This is me and the Litha Bus at the restaurant. รูปผมเองครับ หลวงไข่ คนเขียนบล็อกนี้ แฮ่..หล่อมั้ย ไม่ต้องตอบก็ได้ครับ ผมมีคำตอบในใจอยู่แล้ว ฮิๆๆๆ

The bus continued along this long road after stopped at the restaurant. เราต้องไปตามถนนสายนี้อีกไกลเลยครับ

After this both sides of the bus will change to be jungle and mountain jungle and mountain area.หลังจากนั้นทั้งสองข้างทางจะเปลี่ยนเป็น ทุ่งน่า ป่า และภูเขาสลับกันไปครับ

If you are sleepy , you can sleep because it is very long way in the bus. ถ้าง่วงก็หลับได้ครับ ไม่มีใครว่า เพราะว่ามันไกลจริงๆครับ หน้าตาโทรมอย่างเห็นได้ชัด

Mountain area again. ผ่านภูเขาอีกหลายลูก นับไม่ถ้วน

About 17:30 Hrs the bus stopped again for toilet or souvenior shops at the village name Cakke.
ประมาณ 17:30 น. รถจอดอีกรอบที่หมู่บ้านชื่อจั๊กแก (Cakke) ให้เข้าห้องน้ำ หรือซื้อของฝากครับ

We bought one box of the sweet, the name was Dodol, it was really delicious.เราซื้อขนมมาหนึ่งกล่องครับ ชื่อขนมโดโดล สีดำๆอร่อยดี คล้ายๆกะละแมบ้านเราเลย (เพิ่งรู้ตอนหลังว่ามันก็คือกะละแม นั่นแหละครับ เพราะว่า โดโดลภาษามาเลย์กับภาษาอินโด แปลว่ากะละแมนั่นเองครับ)

We told the bus driver to drop us at Pia's Poppies Resort, just 1 Km before Rantepao. The room was very O.K. 85,000 Rp per night. (It was very cheap if we compare with the room price and quality of the room in Manado) We arrive to Rantepao about 20:00 Hrs.

เราบอกให้คนขับรถบัส จอดให้เราลงหน้าทางเข้าโรงแรม เพียส ป๊อปปี้ ประมาณ 1 กิโลเมตรก่อนถึงรันเตเปาครับ เดินเข้าในซอย 50 เมตรก็ถึงรีสอร์ทแล้วครับ ห้องคืนละ 85,000 รูเปียห์ (340 บาท) ถูกอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อถ้าเทียบกับคุณภาพและราคาห้องที่มานาโด เราถึงรันเตเปาประมาณสองทุ่มครับ เพลียสุดๆ
